ROCKFORD — Rockford City Market wraps up its 20-week outdoor season on Friday with music from Jodi Beach Trio on the main stage and Paul Bronson on the acoustic stage.
This is the 13th season of City Market, which was created to connect the community to local entrepreneurs, artists, growers and other makers.
The last market of the season features more than 60 vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, clothing, jewelry, handmade goods, cheese, honey and other merchandise.

The market was started in 2010 by Rock River Development Partnership, a nonprofit designed to create places for businesses and people to come together. It has averaged roughly 90,000 visitors each of the past two years after reopening after the pandemic. Its record attendance came in 2019 with more than 111,000 people.
