In July, Artists’ Ensemble Theater summer interns will perform a free children’s play, The All Girl Traveling Tall Tale Show, at parks and community centers around the city.
Funded by a grant from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois Community Grants Program and The Rockford Area Arts Council, The All Girl Traveling Tall Tale Show will be performed by three energetic teens: Chrinovic Bugere, Chase Hunter, and Kaylee Presslor. The cast spent June in classes and rehearsal with AE Artistic Director Richard Raether.
All performances are free to the public. This year’s performances are presented in partnership with the Rockford Park District, The Boys and Girls Club and the Rockford Police Department.
