ROCKFORD — A fitness chain that touts its focus on inclusivity and fun is set to fill the former Bed, Bath & Beyond Space at Forest Plaza.
Crunch Fitness is taking over the space at 6309 E. State St. most recently occupied by Treasure Hunt Deals. Construction on the $5 million, 40,000-square-foot fitness center will begin once Treasure Hunt completes its move out. The goal is to open by summer.
“We really have every amenity you can imagine under one roof,” said Hiba Abduljawad, chief marketing officer for Fitness Ventures LLC, the franchise group bringing Crunch Fitness here. “We are a truly all inclusive environment. We cater to everyone from seasoned athletes and first-time gym-goers.”
