ROCKFORD — The city will host three public safety town hall meetings over the next seven weeks.

Residents will hear from Mayor Tom McNamara, Police Chief Carla Redd and Jennifer Cacciapaglia, the executive director of the Mayor’s Office of Domestic and Community Violence Prevention. They will provide an overview of the city’s efforts to reduce violent crime across the community.

When: 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22
Where: Crusader Clinic, 1200 W. State St.

When: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25
Where: Nordlof Center, 118 N. Main St.

When: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Rockford University, Fisher Chapel, 5050 E. State St.
