Animal Crossing, a game on the Nintendo switch that skyrocketed in popularity during quarantine,, was inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame this week. Three other games were inducted including Microsoft Flight SimulatorWhere in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and StarCraft. The four were honored for their influence on pop culture and the video game industry.

During the “Epic Vs. Apple” court battle, and interestingfact came out. According to XBox Vice President Lori Wright, who testified as a third party witness, Microsoft doesn’t make a dime on selling Xbox Consoles. No profit at all. In fact, they sell them at a loss! So how do they make their money? Why Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass of course. That’s how they get ya.

Rollout has begun for Twitter’s new “think before you tweet” feature. It’s an algorithm that can detect whether your tweet contains offense, aggressive or gross content and it will give you a chance to rethink things. It will tell you what part of your tweet it thinks is offensive, and it will ask you basically, are you sure you wanna be that much of a jerk? The feature has been in test mode since last year, but after a few tweaks, it’s ready to roll.
