Nothing screams spring like the arrival of cute wild baby animals! “Hoo” Haven in Durand is hosting a community spring wildlife baby shower on May 1st, to benefit newborn wildlife.

Visitors may come to the facility, located at 10823 Cleveland Road in Durand, between noon and 3 pm for a fundraiser to celebrate the arrival of these newborns.

To see how dedicated these volunteers are daily, wildlife newborns will be available for “quiet” viewing. Not only are educational programs planned for this event but there will also be interactive exhibits, scavenger hunts, and self-guided tours.

This event is free but just like a normal baby shower, “Hoo” Haven is asking that you bring a small gift for the newborns on the wish list, purchase an item from the gift store, or make a cash donation into a collection box.

If you’re thinking about attending, visit their website to see the wish list.
