Starting Thursday, February 25th, more people in Illinois will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Expanding Phase 1B, Illinois is prioritizing individuals with disabilities and those who have comorbidities and underlying conditions as defined by the CDC.

This expansion will apply to individuals who are 16 and older and who haven’t been covered in other eligibility policies.

As guidance evolves, this list is subject to change and does not reflect the order of priority:

  • Cancer
  • Chronic Kidney Disease
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Condition
  • Immunocompromised state from a Solid Organ Transplant
  • Obesity
  • Pregnancy
  • Pulmonary Disease
  • Sickle Cell Disease
