NIU women’s basketball rides a five-game winning streak into this weekend’s make-up series with Kent State at the NIU Convocation Center. The Huskies defeated Buffalo 81-76 last Saturday behind 20 points from Chelby Koker and a 17-point, 19-rebound double-double from A’Jah Davis.

This is NIU’s first five-game winning streak since the 2018-19 season, and also the first time the Huskies have won nine games in a 10-game stretch since 2016-17. The Huskies lead the MAC in three-point field goal percentage at 39.5 percent, which is seventh-best in the country.
