Like most things in 2020, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be different this year.  Yes we will still see the balloons, floats and performances. Santa Claus will still be the star of the show. The presentation however, will be unlike any other in the parade’s 94 year history.

This year they will not be doing the 2.5 mile parade route through New York City. They have scaled back the number of people involved and have even pre-recorded a lot of it. You’ll also notice, no crowds. Watching at home will be the only way to take in the parade. Which might be the one part most of us are used to. It’s all an effort to keep people as safe as possible and still make this tradition happen during COVID 19.
