There’s always a huge debate about whether candy corn is actually good or not. According to a new survey based on geotagged Twitter data since October 1st, tracking tweets and hashtags about candy corn, including phrases like “I love candy corn” or “I hate candy corn.” Over 80,000 tweets were tracked.

There does seem to be a regional component at play, with much of the midwest hating the annual fall candy, compared to many of the western states who like it. In addition, the same study was done last year, so it’s interesting to see what states have changed their opinion.
