The Rockford City Market will be postponing their opening date to June 5th as a precaution due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“We’ve delayed our start date until June 5. Even if the stay at home order is lifted April 30, we think it’s important to build in a few weeks to work through any changes from an operational and vending standpoint and to allow patrons to feel more comfortable.  We plan to spread out booths to allow at least 6′ of distance between them, provide more handwashing stations, provide vendors with safety guidelines, etc. We of course are following the daily COVID-19 developments and will tweak plans as necessary.”, said Cathy McDermott, Executive Director of the Rock River Development Partnership.
