Sheltering in place has been a big adjustment for everyone, especially children. They can’t play with their friends or go to school. While missing out on so much, they are also trying to wrap their heads around exactly what this invisible enemy is. We had a chance to talk with Kevin Polky, founder and executive director of KP Counseling in Rockford. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Addiction Counselor. Polky discusses signs to look for that indicate your child may need extra help while in quarantine. He also gives some great tips on how to make this uncertain time easier for kids.
