The Winnebago County Animal Services (WCAS) is full of cats and dogs. Since the shelter is near capacity, they will be reducing the adoption costs for a select number of adult dogs and cats from July 17th through July 20th.
Dogs, $50 and cats, $10.
In order to adopt a cat or dog, you must be 18 years of age or older. In addition:
Bring a state-issued photo ID.
All cats and dogs in the household already, must be current with a rabies vaccination and county pet license.
Little or no animal complaints on your record.
Animal Services encourages adopters to get approval from their landlord before considering adoption.
Adoptions will include a wellness exam, spay or neuter, microchip, vaccinations including a one year rabies shot, flea and tick preventative, and more!
